Legacy Portion, LLC is a Development and Construction Consultancy/Advisory firm providing professional services to its clients and strategic partners throughout the United States.  Established in 2007, its core business provides reputable, ethical and client-focused development and construction consultancy services to nationally based Equity Funds, Financial Institutions, Asset Managers, Developers and private real estate partners on major development and construction projects. 
 
The company's founder, Michael Kairis, has over twenty-four years of construction and development experience, totaling over $3 billion, and has been personally involved in the building of such high profile projects as the Getty Center, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel, the 24-story Glendale Plaza and the Walt Disney Concert Hall, all of which are located within the Los Angeles, California area. In addition, he has leadership experience at the senior and executive levels with a few of the worlds largest construction and development firms, including the Turner Construction Company, the Opus Group, and most recently as Vice President of Real Estate & Development with J.P. Morgan Chase.  Mr. Kairis has experience working on numerous product types, including, industrial, commercial, high-rise office, hospitality, museum, performing arts, residential, educational, retail and mixed-use projects in California, Texas, Florida, Oregon, Washington, Illinois, Indiana, Arizona and South Carolina.
 
Mr. Kairis is a member and officer of John Brown University's Board of Trustees and is associated with the MBA Mentor's Program at Biola University.
                                                                                                 
Legacy: meaning, "handed down or entrusted", and  Portion: meaning, "a part allocated to or regarded as belonging to someone else."
